Region: Macedonia

Meter: 2/4

Formation: Open circle or line with hands joined at shoulder height in W position; in former times M and W dance in separate lines or in a single line with M together at the right end ans W together at the left end – W joined hands at shoulder height while M placed arms on or around shoulders, or grasped armholes of neighbor's vests, etc. The leader usually flourished a handkerchief or (in villages) an ornamental cord which he used to signal special figures.
